The Saginaw Valley Pistol League is up and running for the summer postal league (May-Aug). Right now we have 6 teams and invite more to join.
We shoot the best 5 of 8 National Match courses (four 30-shot S,T,R matches) in our general league; and the same in our .22-only league. .22 scores may be used in both leagues. Because it is the best 5 of 8, results will not be known until the end of the season. Shooters may shoot in both leagues, or in just one.
Each team sets up and registers their own schedule and mails in their scores after each match. All matches must be shot at a regularly scheduled match. Shooters often shoot at matches other than their own. If situations occur where a match must be canceled, notify the secretary of the cancelation and of the new match date. Please notify the secretary of your range location and number of positions likely to be available if your range will allow additional shooters to participate in your matches.
75% handicap system. Certificates and trophies awarded at the spring banquet in April of next year (shooters must shoot a minimum of 3 matches to be eligible for individual awards other than season highs). Costs are $6 trophy fee per shooter and $1 per score card.
